Mick Scarrow, our hard working membership secretary, has moved house. His new contact details are on the Contacts page. If you are have any queries about subscriptions renewals or the delivery of Satellite, let Mick know.

- Update 194 -

~

Subscriptions for Satellite in 2008 are now being accepted through the subscriptions page.

The address of the Society Secretary, and therefore the registered address of the Society, has changed. See the Contacts page.

MSL Hobbies began it, then MK Modelbouwstudio ran with it: the Woodhead line EM1 prototype that our friends in the Netherlands named 'Tommy'

- Update 193 -

The contents list for Satellite 52 is here.

- Update 192 -

The London Transport Museum shop commissioned Halling to produce a Croydon Tramlink CR4000 tram in H0. And there was much rejoicing.

To go with your Croydon Tramlink layout, you can use the Brawa Klv 53 maintenance vehicle and accompanying KLA wagon, both of which are now in use with that operator in a fetching shade of red.

- Update 191 -

I slipped in a couple more layouts. One of them is from 1952. Did you find them?

You must have noticed the new welcome page! I think this will be better than just one big photo that I rarely get around to changing. This update includes an updated welcome page with more items on it, including a brand new section, Inspirations, to show work by modellers in British H0. There's a lot more to be added to this section.

- Update 190 -

Brawa have released a new variant of the megafret wagon with large curtain-sided containers, and a new version of the Köf II shunter.

- Update 189 -

Advanced contents list for Satellite 51 is here.

- Update 188 -

Almost since we began using the payments page, people have reported problems getting through to the end of the process: a 'time-out' message appears. This can sometimes be overcome by using a different web browser, or a different version of the same web browser. However, I don't recommend that you retry more than once, mainly because of the sheer frustration of doing so. Instead, go to www.paypal.com and make a payment to mems.mick@blueyonder.co.uk. The only real difference is that you have to know the amount of the payment you are making: £12 for UK addresses and £16 for the rest of the world. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Satellite 50 will be sent out in the week beginning 16 April 2007, so that the documents for the AGM can be included in the same envelope. The edition is almost complete, so here is an advance listing of the contents.

- Update 187 -

High Speed have released a very nice AC/Shelby Cobra from 1965.

- Update 186 -

Satellite 49 contents.

- Update 185 -

With the help of Julian E., I have at last been able to provide illustrations for Vernon Wood's Burford layout.

- Update 184 -

How could I have missed Mick Scarrow's Watlington and Aston Rowant from the layouts section? Sheer forgetfulness.

- Update 183 -

Marks & Spencer do us proud again this Christmas. Check out the Inspector Morse Jaguar Mk2 and completely new "classic" Minis.

A very fine 1930s Triumph motorcycle from Artitec.

An impressive Centurion MkIII tank, also from Artitec.

Not forgetting the Ford Zephyr Six Mk1 of 1952, from Weico.

- Update 182 -

All the pages should now be in the new format.

I've added several new pages to the layouts section. I think these are all the layouts that I have details for. Apologies for the length of time it's taken to get some of these on the web site. If anyone knows of any more, please let me know.

- Update 181 -

I've been gradually converting the pages to the new format and uploading them. Most of them are done now. If I've kept track correctly, there are just fifty or so road and military vehicle pages yet to convert.

Satellite 48 is out and the contents are listed here.

- Update 180 -

As you can see, a major reworking of the site. I hope you like it. There's more to be done though, so please bear with me.
